About

Brittany Smith of Build Social specializes in ethical digital marketing and website development for therapists, counselors and other mental health professionals.

At Build Social, Brittany’s priority is to help clients find you so that you can build your practice or organization without taking time away from what matters to you most, client care. This requires establishing or refining your online presence so that it’s strategic, intentional, and sustainable. Brittany will sit down with you and walk you through a process that will help you identify objectives that facilitate ethical engagement with your clients. Based on these objectives Brittany will then work with you to determine what website development and digital marketing services you need.

This strategic, holistic, and client centered approach ensures that your online presence is manageable, effective, and efficient.

Therapists, counselors and other mental health professionals have unique needs that many website developers and digital marketers don’t understand. Brittany has been working with mental health professionals and organizations for over ten years and is currently a counselor in training. Her experience ensures that you’ll end up with an online presence that is affordable, ethical, and easy to manage.

Empowering Mental Health Professionals

Brittany lives and works in Portland, Oregon and helps people and organizations all across the country. She began her career in the non-profit sector as a social marketing and youth engagement technical assistance provider for System of Care communities. She has worked for many nonprofits including Children First for Oregon, DiversityRx, The National Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health, and the Children’s Mental Health Network.

Brittany started Build Social in 2012 and has been helping individuals and organizations with digital marketing and website development for over ten years. She is currently working on a masters degree in counseling, and when she isn’t studying she’s either playing with her son or knitting.

Brittany will be opening a private practice as a mental health counselor in October of 2022 called Toadstool Counseling! If you’re a former or prospective client interested in working with Brittany as a mental health counselor starting in October, be in touch through her website.
